How do I contact someone on tumblr who doesn’t have the /ask function enabled?

Amen!

i don’t think words should ever be typed over photographs, ever
a picture if worth a thousand words, you really do not have to write something over it to get your point

caption that shit.

sea-c-see asked: i'm so sorry! i'll take it down immediately
but its a beautiful picture :)

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

libraryatsea asked: milkandbookies here , you asked me to delete the photograph , so I did .
Sorry , I didn't know it wasn't linked to the correct owner - it's understandable how you want it off .
I've been scrolling through your Flickr and you have wonderful photos . I hope you go far in photography :-)

Thank you so much! Everyone on Tumblr has been very nice about it; I think the fact that it was used without credit on Xanga was the main cause of trouble. ;-) Thank you so much for removing it!

smackintoyouu asked: hey, I deleted the image (:
your pictures are wonderful btw.

Thank you so much! I’m really grateful…just trying to keep track of where my photography goes. ;-)

plasteredbeauty-deactivated2011 asked: I will delete the photo! You have wonderful shots. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much. I appreciate it. :)

I use sources on all the photo’s that I put up unlike her tumblr.
So you might want to ask her instead of me to take it down.
I answered your question and the put it here so we'd be clear on this.

Thanks.

Thank you,

I did ask her to remove the image, and she has. However, it still appears on Tumblr from every person who has reblogged the image, and is credited incorrectly. I don’t want it on Tumblr at all.

This is the image on my flickr account (the correct source): http://www.flickr.com/photos/heather_with_lime/2515590150/

Just deleted everything I ever posted on my Tumblr. From the start I have been incredibly discouraged by how prone this site is to copyright infringement. So many people pass around photos that are not credited or that are incorrectly credited. I cannot participate in a site so overrun with stolen images. Although I always credited the original photographer and set photos to directly click through to their photo sites, I spent the better (or worse) part of the day today tracking one of my images that had been used without credit or permission. I am very disenchanted by Tumblr, We Heart It, Xanga, Livejournal, etc. The internet makes it very difficult for a photographer to maintain possession of his or her art.
